Amor Belhedi est Géographe Universitaire. Il est Professeur émérite à la Faculté des Sciences Humaines & Sociales, Université de Tunis depuis 2016.
Il est membre de l’Académie Tunisienne des Sciences, des Lettres et des Arts, Beit al-Hikma depuis 2016.
Né à Souk Lahad (Gouvernorat de Kébili) où il a fait ses études primaires, il a fait ses études secondaires au Lycée mixte de Gabes avant d'aller à la Faculté des Lettres & Sciences Humaines (FLSH) de Tunis faire ses études supérieures en Géographie.
Il a travaillé au District de Tunis (actuelle Agence d’urbanisme du Grand Tunis) comme géographe-urbaniste (1975-1978) avant de regagner la Faculté des Sciences Humaines & Sociales de Tunis jusqu’à la retraite le 30 septembre 2015.
Membre du Comité de Rédaction (1982-2015), Rédacteur en Chef (1984-1990) puis Directeur (2000-2006 et 2010-2015) de la Revue Tunisienne de Géographie. Membre du Comité de Rédaction de Géographie & Développement (1979-1983).
Membre du Comité éditorial des Cahiers du Gremamo, Géographie & Développement du Maroc.
Correspondant de L’Espace Géographique et Cybergeo.
Membre du comité de lecture de plusieurs revues : RTG, Géographie & Développement, RTSS, Cahiers du CERES, L’Espace Géographique, Cybergeo, L’espace Politique, RERU, Géographie & Développement du Maroc, VertiGo, Cahiers de Géographie du Quebec, Le Géographe Canadien, Cahiers de Tunisie, Mawared...
Ses recherches s'articulent autour de l’organisation de l’espace, l’aménagement et le développement territorial en Tunisie; l’analyse spatiale et l’analyse des données, l’épistémologie et la méthodologique en Géographie. Elles sont publiées dans plus d’une dizaine d’ouvrages et d’une centaine d’articles dans plusieurs revues en Tunisie et à l’étranger.
Il a participé à plusieurs Etudes et Rapports au sein de divers organismes nationaux (District de Tunis, MDE, CGDR, COGEDRAT, INS) et internationaux (PNUD, FNUAP, UNICEF). Il a créé plusieurs groupes de recherche (GREES, GREPVIT, BEPV, DESPAT, LANDS, PNM Développement Régional au CERES) et a fondé et dirigé le Laboratoire « Dynamiques & Planification Spatiales » (1999-2004).

One more thing I would like to convey is that instead of trying to match all your online degree courses on days and nights that you finish off work (since most people are fatigued when they get home), try to get most of your classes on the weekends and only a few courses for weekdays, even if it means a little time away from your weekend. This pays off because on the week-ends, you will be much more rested in addition to concentrated in school work. Thanks alot : ) for the different recommendations I have mastered from your blog.

I will also like to state that there may be situation in which you will have a loan and do not need a cosigner such as a U.S. Student Support Loan. However, if you are getting a borrowing arrangement through a traditional financial institution then you need to be prepared to have a co-signer ready to make it easier for you. The lenders may base their own decision using a few components but the greatest will be your credit worthiness. There are some loan companies that will as well look at your work history and make a decision based on that but in almost all cases it will be based on on your score.

An added important aspect is that if you are a mature person, travel insurance with regard to pensioners is something you must really think about. The older you are, the more at risk you happen to be for allowing something poor happen to you while overseas.
